The Barley Crush is a traditional Cornish stone farm building within the farmyard. It is at the centre of Treveddoe farm and has wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. Accommodating up to 5 people very comfortably, it is the perfect home away from home.

LIVING ROOM

The sitting room is upstairs to take full advantage of the spectacular views. This is a light and airy room with exposed rafters, comfortable sofa and chairs, digital TV, DVD, desk and landline phone.

The Barley Crush has been converted to provide two bedrooms and two bathrooms – one on each floor. Upstairs the main bedroom has a king size bed and en-suite bathroom. The downstairs bedroom has twin beds and a full size pull out bed.

KITCHEN & DINING ROOM

The large farmhouse kitchen, with a door to walled garden, is beautifully equipped with everything to make a self-catering holiday easier; dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric cooker, microwave, radio etc. It is a joy to work in and the garden, sheer magic!

BATHROOMS & UTILITIES

There is a en-suite bathroom to the king size bedroom on first floor. And a bathroom and cloakroom on the ground floor. There are showers over both baths. Downstairs, outside the front door, is a porch which is ideal for storing boots, surfboards etc. Inside a utility room, houses the oil fired boiler, washing and drying machines.

OUTSIDE

There is a small enclosed terraced garden outside the front door with garden furniture. It is magic to sit on the terrace in the evening with a drink, watching the sun go down. There is a BBQ for those summer days.

We loved walking in the surrounding fields and spot for badgers and dears. It takes about 20 minutes drive for groceries (but there is a big fridge and freezer). It is well located to go to the northern and southern beaches and very near to the Moor. We can surely recommend it.”
